We are delighted to begin consultation on the proposals to redevelop a warehouse/yard site and property fronting London Road into 34 high-quality new homes in four buildings, surrounding a landscaped communal garden, and a ground floor commercial unit fronting London Road.

The site is located on the western side of London Road, Morden. This is inside the town centre and close to both Morden South Railway station (five mins walk) and Morden Tube station (seven mins walk). 

Our proposal is to replace an existing warehouse/yard and develop in its place 34 new homes, ranging from one-bed flats to family-sized homes.

  • We are proposing to provide 34 new homes, a landscaped communal garden and a ground floor commercial unit on the site presently occupied by a warehouse and yard.

  • This will be discussed with the council’s planning team. We will provide a report that demonstrates the various costs involved in building the homes and the likely revenues – this is called a Viability Report. This will be carefully analysed by the council’s own consultants.

  • A number of spaces will be allocated to the wheelchair homes. Future residents of the new homes will not be eligible to secure parking permits to park on local streets.
